The Affiliated Workers Association (AWA) is a non-profit organization comprised of more than 25,000 members, including small business owners, self-employed professionals and entrepreneurs from all across America. We are dedicated to empowering our members with education, benefits and resources to help them save time and money, so they can focus on their business and family.
The AWA is proud to be a strategic partner with national advocacy group, Small Business Majority, to support our members in small business growth and provide information on issues that impact small businesses, including government, health care reform, clean energy, and other areas.
Who We Serve
Our membership is as diverse as our population, ranging from a freelance web designer in Pennsylvania to a shop owner in Texas. Membership is open to small business owners, independent contractors and entrepreneurs ages 18 and over, and can extend to the entire family.
From our formation in 2001, the Affiliated Workers Association has been dedicated to providing quality benefits and services to the American worker. Our focus has not changed, even though times have. A difficult economy may have affected your family adversely, and the AWA is here to help. From small business owners to the self-employed, the AWA is a valued partner. Your membership in the AWA helps you protect your safety, your health, your family and your budget.
One word defines our commitment to our members: Empowerment. We work tirelessly to research resources and benefits that will help our members reduce overhead expenses and learn how to success in their business endeavors. We know our members work hard for their money, and we work hard for them. Seeking out the best benefit providers and assuring top-quality services is just part of the day-to-day business for the AWA.
The AWA is governed by a board of directors that come from different industries and backgrounds, representative of our membership base. To learn more about the leadership team at the heart of the Affiliated Workers Association, visit our website.
